Additional Veterinary Services in Stockton, CA

OPEN MONDAY – FRIDAY 5:00pm to 9:00PM

Great veterinary care goes far beyond wellness exams and vaccinations. Pets have a wide range of needs throughout their lives, from permanent identification that brings them home if they get lost, to advanced treatments that extend and improve their quality of life when serious illness strikes. Having all of these services available under one roof means fewer referrals, less stress for your pet, and a team that knows your companion’s full medical history.

Venetian Pet Hospital offers a comprehensive menu of veterinary services designed to support pets in the Stockton area at every stage of life. Our additional services complement our core medical, surgical, and preventive programs to give your pet the most complete care possible.

Our dedicated team is here to provide urgent, high-quality care for your pets—because they’re family and deserve immediate attention when it matters most!

Microchip Pet Identification

A microchip is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your pet. The tiny implant, placed just under the skin in seconds, carries a unique ID number that links to your contact information in a national database. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, microchipped pets are returned to their families at significantly higher rates than those without chips.

The procedure is no more uncomfortable than a routine vaccination and can be done during any office visit. We also help you register the chip and remind you to keep your contact details up to date.

Chemotherapy and Cancer Treatment

A cancer diagnosis is frightening, but treatment options have come a long way. Our chemotherapy and cancer treatment program provides individualized care that focuses on managing the disease while maintaining your pet’s quality of life.

Our Approach

We use a combination of diagnostics, including radiology and ultrasonography, to stage and monitor cancers accurately. Treatment may include chemotherapy medications, surgical removal of tumors, cryosurgery, or palliative care focused on comfort. Dr. Sam Varon has a particular interest in oncology and end-of-life care, bringing both skill and genuine compassion to these difficult situations.

Pet Boarding

When you need to travel, our boarding facility gives you the peace of mind that comes from leaving your pet in a full-service veterinary hospital. Boarding guests receive clean, comfortable accommodations, regular feeding and exercise, and access to our medical team if any health concern arises during their stay.

Pets with ongoing conditions, medication schedules, or dietary needs managed through our nutritional counseling services receive seamless continuity of care while you are away. We treat every boarder like family and go out of our way to keep them comfortable and happy.

Hear From Our Pet Parents

“ Dr. Sam saved my baby...

My dog Aurora had mouth cancer. I found out and had such little time to schedule her surgery because it was so aggressive. I was referred to Dr. Sam by a friend. I live in Santa Barbara and made the trip up to Sacramento. I am still impressed how well everything went! She had to have almost half of her jaw removed. She is cancer free and looking amazing! Back to her puppy self. First picture is only 2 months after surgery! 2nd and 3rd are the day of. Dr. Sam saved my baby
